Return & Refund Policy

MOA Rifles evaluates returns and refunds on a case-by-case basis. Because a significant portion of what we sell is custom-built, made-to-order, or subject to federal firearms regulations, we do not operate a blanket return window. If you have a concern about an order, contact us first — we will work with you.

Firearms

Under Oregon law and federal regulations, a firearm that has been transferred through an FFL to a customer cannot be returned as a standard retail transaction. If you believe your firearm has a manufacturing defect, contact us immediately. We will coordinate with you and the manufacturer to assess the issue and determine the appropriate remedy, which may include repair, replacement, or warranty service through the manufacturer.

Custom-Built Rifles

Custom builds are non-refundable once work has begun. The deposit collected at the time of order covers materials procurement and labor scheduling and is non-refundable under any circumstances. If you need to cancel a build that has not yet entered production, contact us as soon as possible — we will review the situation and determine what, if any, portion of a payment can be returned based on costs already incurred.

Service Work & Upfit Program

Labor charges for gunsmithing and Upfit service work are non-refundable once work has been performed. If you are dissatisfied with the work, contact us and we will make it right. Parts installed during service may be subject to the manufacturer’s own warranty terms.

Non-Firearm Components & Accessories

Uninstalled, unused accessories and components in original condition may be returned within 30 days of receipt. Contact us before shipping anything back — we will issue a return authorization and provide the correct return address. Items returned without prior authorization may not be accepted. Return shipping is the customer’s responsibility unless the item was shipped in error or arrives defective.

Items that show signs of installation, use, or modification are not eligible for return.

Order Errors & Defective Items

If we ship you the wrong item or an item arrives defective, contact us within 14 days of delivery. We will cover return shipping and either replace the item or issue a full refund, at your preference.

Deposits

All deposits collected for custom rifle builds are non-refundable. This is clearly stated at the time of purchase and applies regardless of the reason for cancellation.

How to Start a Return

Call or email us with your order number and a description of the issue. Do not ship anything back until you have spoken with us and received a return authorization. Unauthorized returns may be refused at delivery.
