Terms & Conditions
Terms & Conditions
Last updated: May 2026
These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the MOA Rifles website and any purchase made through it. By placing an order or using this site, you agree to these terms in full.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 21 years of age to purchase a firearm or firearm component from MOA Rifles, or 18 years of age for long guns where permitted by law. By placing an order, you represent that you are legally eligible to purchase, own, and possess the items ordered under all applicable federal, state, and local laws. MOA Rifles reserves the right to cancel any order if eligibility cannot be verified or if a transfer cannot be completed lawfully.
2. Custom Orders & Deposits
Most MOA Rifles products are built to order. A non-refundable deposit is required at the time of order to reserve your build slot and cover initial materials costs. The remaining balance is due before shipment or pickup. Lead times are estimates and may vary based on parts availability and shop capacity. MOA Rifles will communicate delays as they arise, but delays do not entitle the customer to a refund of the deposit.
3. Pricing
Prices listed on this site are subject to change without notice. The price confirmed at the time of your order is the price you will be charged. Quotes provided by phone or email are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated.
4. Returns & Cancellations
All sales are evaluated on a case-by-case basis. Firearms that have been transferred to a customer cannot be returned under Oregon law except as required by statute. For non-firearm accessories and components, returns may be accepted within 30 days of receipt if the item is unused and in original condition — contact us before shipping anything back. Custom-built rifles and service work are non-refundable once work has begun. If you have a concern about your order, call or email us directly and we will work with you to resolve it.
5. FFL Transfers & Shipping
All firearms must be transferred through a licensed Federal Firearms Dealer (FFL). It is your responsibility to provide a valid receiving FFL prior to shipment. MOA Rifles will ship to any FFL in the contiguous United States. Transfer fees charged by the receiving dealer are the buyer's responsibility. MOA Rifles complies with all ATF regulations regarding interstate firearms transfers.
6. Service Work & Upfit Program
When shipping a firearm to MOA Rifles for service or the Upfit program, you are responsible for shipping the firearm in compliance with all federal and carrier regulations. MOA Rifles is not liable for damage or loss that occurs during inbound shipping. Labor estimates provided prior to work commencing are good-faith approximations — final invoices reflect actual time and materials. You will be notified before any work that exceeds the original estimate proceeds.
7. Accuracy & Product Descriptions
We make every effort to ensure that product descriptions, images, and specifications are accurate. Minor variations in wood grain, finish, and dimensions may occur between production runs. If a product materially differs from its description, contact us within 14 days of receipt.
8. Limitation of Liability
MOA Rifles' liability for any claim arising out of a purchase is limited to the purchase price of the item in question. MOA Rifles is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages of any kind. Nothing in these terms limits liability for personal injury caused by our negligence or for any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.
9. Safe Use
Firearms are dangerous if misused. MOA Rifles assumes no liability for injury, death, or property damage resulting from improper use, storage, or maintenance of any firearm purchased from or serviced by us. Always follow safe gun handling practices and comply with all applicable laws regarding storage and transport.
10. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oregon. Any disputes arising from a purchase shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Deschutes County, Oregon.
11. Changes to These Terms
MOA Rifles may update these terms at any time. The version in effect at the time of your order applies to that transaction.
