MAUPIN OREGON

LEVEL 1 EXTREME SHOOTING SCHOOL

Located in Central Oregon – Spring/Summer – 2 day events

Our Extreme Level 1 Shooting School is designed for new long range shooters or experienced shooters looking to brush up their knowledge when it comes to ballistic details and shooting fundamentals. This two-day course is held on 40,000 acres using our custom MOA Rifles’ long-range rifle systems, shooting our custom loaded ammunition or you can choose to bring your own equipment and ammo.

Students can drive directly to Maupin or fly into Redmond Oregon’s Regional Airport (www.flyrdm.com). 2-nights lodging, continental breakfast, and lunch, is provided at the Imperial River Company, located 50 miles north of the Redmond airport in Maupin.

Day One

- Continental Breakfast followed by 4 hours of classroom instruction
- Mid-day break and lunch
- 4 hours of sight-in and range time working on proper shooting technique

Day Two

- Continental Breakfast, Q&A followed by long range shooting and instruction starting at 400 yards
- Mid-day break and lunch
- Q&A followed by long range shooting with instruction out to 1 mile.

What are you going to learn?

Level 1 course offers instructional shooting and learning how to shoot from 100 yds out to 1 mile. Also delivers extensive knowledge and teaching about form, shooting technique, sighting in, wind calling, understanding MOA (Minutes of Angle) and basic fundamentals to shoot out past your normal 100 yards.

How many rounds are you shooting?

Most students shoot between 60 and 80 rounds. We suggest bringing at least 100 rounds to be sure you will have enough.

What you should plan to bring:

Spotting Scope (optional) - instructors will have optics to use
Binoculars
Rangefinder/ballistic solver
Open mind, ready to learn!

Our Extreme Level 2 Shooting school is designed for shooters who have already attended our Level 1 school or are already very experienced with all things ballistics and long range shooting. If you’re looking for an all inclusive experience to stretch your rifle out on a course spread out over 40,000 acres with hunting scenario targetry, this long range shooting school is for you! This two day course is held on 40,000 acres in Central Oregon, using our MOA Rifles Long Range Shooting Systems.

What are you going to learn?

Level 2 course builds on the level 1 course. Our level 2 course is designed to get you in real scenarios when you are hunting. You will get in different positions and learn how to range, dial, shoot using various tools and also get comfortable behind your rifle.

Wonderful experience

I went in open minded and with minimal experience shooting long range, I left with a bevy of skills, tools, and knowledge that will undoubtedly lend a lot of confidence to my hunting and range time in the months and years to come. The experienced staff presented all training material at a very consumable rate, in voice I could “hear” and a language I understood. The theoretical material covered in class made the practical application very straightforward. On top of making a wonderful precision rifle, the instruction received was consistent with that excellence. My only wish is that I found their rifles AND their class sooner! Hope to see y’all soon fora Level II instruction.

Exceptional Training, Mentoring, and Support

What a fantastic School. Ty and his awesome team nailed it. They are dialed, experienced, and hold you accountable to be your best. The safety on the course is top-notch; they are strict on expectations. The instruction was superior to any I have ever had. It was a simply presented step-by-step process with learning moments at each level. They continued to build on the last lesson all the way through. The school rifles are the best of the best to help you build the confidence to move through the long-range shooting of day 2.

World Class Instruction!

Legendary experience 5 out of 5 stars! I attended the shooting school in May of 2025. First and foremost the training was next level, instructors were absolute rockstars and the property stunning! This was my first time taking shots beyond 500 yards and I was in the company of some avid long range hunters that were straight snipers. Ty and Jimmy were so composed and they relay new information so clearly it boosted my confidence right out of the gate. Ty had me shooting the 6.5 PRC and with their guidance I was able to hold my own with with my fellow shooters. Thanks again for one of the best shooting experiences!

Book it Now!

This course dispels all of the myths (bad advice) we have imbedded in our shooting style. Nice blend of classroom basic shooting knowledge followed up with technique feedback at the range. Each step was designed to introduce the building blocks to learn superior shooting skills. Great equipment, well thought out program and extremely knowledgeable instructors. Definitely will book another class!

Very educational

Ty’s class was absolutely amazing. I have been shooting guns and hunting for over 35 years and it was amazing how much I didn’t know about shooting long distance. From start to finish this class was very educational and enjoyable. If you are thinking of shooting long range I highly recommend taking this course. Can’t wait to return for class 2.
