The Ti X is Defiance Machine's titanium action — aerospace-grade Ti-6AL-4V receiver with a DLC coating over a 4340 chrome moly bolt with black nitride. The result is a receiver roughly 35% lighter than the stainless Anti X while holding the same dimensional tolerances and ±.001" headspace guarantee.
At 16.8 oz (Short Action) to 18.1 oz (Long Action Magnum), the Ti X is one of the lightest precision actions on the market that doesn't compromise on lockup geometry or barrel thread specs. Uses the same 1.0625" × 16 TPI barrel thread as all Defiance models — any Remington 700 pattern barrel or prefit works.
Built for backcountry hunters and mountain rifle builds where every ounce has to justify itself. Also a popular choice for pack rifles and ultralight competition builds. Available in Short Action Standard, Medium Magnum, and Long Action Magnum. BDL or AICS/AW feed. Right or left bolt.
